Molinello Music began with a trip Boyd and his wife took to Il Molinello, a small agriturismo in the rolling hills of Tuscany. They stayed long enough for the place to leave its mark—its history, warmth, and connection to the land. One of the owners was an avid cyclist, and Boyd (also a cyclist) connected with him immediately. The trip sparked a deep fascination with Italian culture and craftsmanship.

When Boyd began creating things—custom bike jerseys, hand-built guitar tube amplifiers, and releasing music with his band—he needed a name that tied together music, bikes, good design, and the joy of building with care. "Molinello Music" felt like the right fit.

Today, Molinello Music is a creative home base: a small, personal brand dedicated to crafting high-quality musical gear and releasing original music. Everything is driven by curiosity, passion, and a love of making things that feel both useful and meaningful.
