Crafted one at a time by a musician obsessed with capturing the sound you actually make — warm, woody, detailed, and alive.
A warm, detailed, and incredibly natural large-diaphragm condenser microphone ready to deliver the pure, authentic, low-end sound of your upright bass capturing every nuance.
Most live setups force you to choose between hassle and tone. Pickups sound harsh. Clip-on condensers can be noisy or feedback-prone. Studio mics sound gorgeous...but they’re not built for the stage.
I build microphones for musicians who refuse to compromise. Players who want their instrument to sound natural, not “amplified.” Players who care about craftsmanship, character, and feel — not mass-produced gear.
Just one builder and a couple of beautifully tuned designs.
Why musicians choose these mics:
Authentic acoustic tone — full, open, woody, musical
Low handling noise & excellent feedback management
Hand-built capsules tuned for acoustic instruments
Light, compact, musician-friendly design
Crafted by an acoustic musician who builds mics because he needed a better solution
This is tone designed from lived experience — not from a committee.

These microphones are built-to-order, but the kind you're after might already be built – just ask!
Once your deposit is received, if parts are on hand, your microphone will be built right away and often, it takes less than a week. Then, you'll receive a payment link for the balance, and your mic will be shipped right to you.
Occasionally I'll have to order additional parts to complete your order and that may slightly delay the build, depending on parts availability. But, the wait will be worth it!
I want you to be 100% satisfied with your microphone. In addition to the 30-day audition period, if you ever have an issue with the mic due to manufacturing or a faulty part, please get in touch with me and I'll make it right. If we can't figure out what's happening via phone/email, you'll be able to ship it back to me and I'll do what it takes to get it working as well as it was the day it was new. These mics are built to last a lifetime.
Every musician I've built for has had the same reaction:

These microphones are hand-made and assembled in the U.S.A. with attention to detail and built for a lifetime of audio service.
