Basin & Grange Release Debut Album
Utah-based bluegrass band Basin & Grange released their debut album Walk You Down the Road. The album contains 10 original songs and 2 cover songs.
One cover is "Jenny Lynn" written by the late Ron Spears, a Utah native and recent member of Fast Track. The first track "Pines of Caroline", written by band member Boyd Timothy, was featured in the 2021 IBMA Songwriter Showcase.
The featured single "Bad Day at Sheep Creek" depicts a 1965 flash flood tragedy that killed a young Utah family.
"Walk You Down the Road is more than just an album—it's a heartfelt testament to the power of music and camaraderie. Each track is a window into our shared journey, reflecting the landscapes and lives that have inspired us."
— Josh Stewart, banjo
"I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Walk You Down the Road. There's some wonderful material here including a couple instrumentals, intriguing story songs, plus some stellar harmonies throughout. If you love traditional Bluegrass, let Basin & Grange 'walk you down the road.'"
— Rick Lang, songwriter
